Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is having one of the best campaigns of his long career so far. He has inserted himself into the MVP conversations following a stretch of remarkable outings. He has been so legit in the ongoing season that even the notorious Cowboys hater Stephen A. Smith had to give his respect to the veteran quarterback.
During Monday’s episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, sports analyst Stephen A. joined the podcast and talked about the performance of Prescott so far in the ongoing season. In the episode, Smith declared Prescott a legit MVP candidate.

It is well known among the fans that Stephen A. Smith hates the Cowboys and their quarterback Dak Prescott. He hasn’t been giving props to the veteran signal-caller despite his good performances in the ongoing season. But, after his nearly flawless outing against the Seattle Seahawks in week 13, Smith had to acknowledge the greatness of the Cowboys QB.
Prescott registered 3 passing touchdowns against the Seahawks and didn’t allow his team to punt even once during the Cowboys’ offensive showdown against the Seattle-based football team last Thursday. As a result, the Cowboys managed to secure a huge 41-35 victory and improved to a solid 9-3 record.
Dak Prescott surging in 2023 league MVP odds
Following the remarkable 3 touchdown performance against the Seahawks, the Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been surging in the odds to win the prestigious MVP award.
In fact, in some betting platforms like Bet Online, Prescott is currently the favorite to win the award over the likes of Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes. However, in some other platforms including Draft Kings Sportsbook and ESPN Bet, the San Francisco 49ers leader Brock Purdy is currently the favorite to bag the hardware.
Nonetheless, Prescott would look to continue his good form with the bigger prize in mind, i.e., winning the Super Bowl trophy with the Dallas-based football team. In their hunt for the championship glory, Prescott and the Cowboys will next go against the defending NFC Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles in their week 14 clash.
