Patrick Mahomes is having a great time in the NFL offseason after winning the Super Bowl with the Chiefs. The Chiefs QB led his team to a sensational victory against the Eagles and picked up the iconic Lombardi Trophy.

The journey wasn’t easy for Mahomes who played the last two playoff games with significant pain due to an ankle injury. However, the MVP award winner fought through the pain and was rewarded greatly for it.

A similar incident happened recently in the Lakers-Mavericks NBA game where legend LeBron James was in his top playing form. However, LeBron picked up a crucial ankle injury during the game that hindered his performance. Regardless, LeBron was playing the game with the ankle pain.

Fortunately, he had Mahomes sitting courtside watching the game. The Chiefs QB has fresh experience in playing with pain and Lebron decided to chat him up during a throw.

“You’re not the only one playing with a f—-d up ankle. Nah, nah. Let’s make a bet, alright?” James stated to Mahomes when he saw him later. LeBron is known as one of the most fierce competitors in the NBA and that skill has helped him rise above the ranks and be considered as one of the greats alongside Michael Jordan.

The same can be said for Patrick Mahomes who is currently the best player in the NFL. However, the question still remains if he will ever be able to surpass the greatness that Tom Brady exhibited during his time.

Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl MVP with a broken ankle

Mahomes probably had one of the great seasons of his career as the Chiefs QB led his team to a Super Bowl victory with a broken ankle and even went on to win the Super Bowl MVP award.

Patrick Mahomes was on his A-game since the season started and also won the NFL MVP award. The 27 year old QB picked up the ankle injury during the playoff game against the Jaguars.

However, he was still confident about playing in the Super Bowl game against the Eagles. During the game, Mahomes aggravated his injury which led to him be on the sidelines. However, he came back late in the game and helped his team score two crucial touchdowns that helped them bring home the Lombardi Trophy.
