The Kansas City Chiefs resumed normal service as they thumped the Arizona Cardinals by a whopping 44-21 margin in their NFL season opener. While the victory was expected, the match contained numerous subplots involving Patrick Mahomes which were answered to some extent.
One of the biggest talking points throughout the whole NFL offseason was the shocking trade move of former Chiefs wide receiver, Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins. After the move, Hill revealed some explicit details about the franchise.

He even went on to compare Patrick Mahomes with Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as he felt the latter was much better and his former teammate. All of this did not go down well, with the Kansas City Chiefs fans and everyone involved with the franchise.
Patrick Mahomes scored five touchdowns during the entirety of the match, and it all started with his three consecutive TDs in the first three plays. He also recorded 360 yards to cap-off one of the best displays in a Chiefs shirt.
The strong showing from Patrick Mahomes in his first match without the services of Hill for the first time officially has drawn the attention of the fans. Mahomes’ combination with the other wide receivers of his franchise, has proved that he does not particularly need Tyreek Hill to flourish.
