It’s no secret that Patrick Mahomes loves to keep his life interesting. When he’s not on the field winning games for the Kansas City Chiefs, he will go hiking with his family, swing for a birdie in a golf tournament, or relieve old memories by scoring home runs. This time, however, the star quarterback appeared in a commercial, calling it one of the weirdest trainings he has ever had.
The Super Bowl winner was cast in the latest TMobile ad, which featured renowned actor Ben Barnes. It opens with Barnes starting a play from a missed snap wearing a makeshift Chiefs training kit. Mahomes questioned the Punisher-famed actor by asking him whom he played for. He rips his kit off and announces that he is with TMobile, a Germany-based telecommunications organization. They journaled across the practice field as the camera pans to zoom in on Mahomes, changing into a magenta jersey.
The 27-year-old has become quite good with his acting in his past few ads. But the best part was the ending. The British actor can be seen hugging Mahomes but calling it a huddle, to which he replied, “You don’t know what a huddle is, do you?”
This isn’t the first time an NFL player has appeared in this company’s ad. A couple of years ago, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski starred together while playing for the Buccaneers.

Fans claim Patrick Mahomes can have a career in acting after he retires
After his latest on-screen performance went viral, fans of Patrick Mahomes feel that the MVP quarterback can make a career change if he decides to quit football. On his Instagram, commenters pointed out that he was slowly getting better in front of the camera. Moreover, fans loved the chemistry between Ben Barnes and the five-time Pro Bowler. More so after he starred in the Netflix docuseries ‘Quarterback.’
This was not his first commercial gig. Previously, he was seen appearing alongside Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence and a host of other athletes in an Adidas ad. It was a thought-provoking fling with the most difficult question of all time, ‘Football’ or ‘Soccer.’
In another ad, he teamed up with former teammate Chad Henne and sliced up some deli for Subway. The two tried to talk over each other as Mahomes pointed it out.
While busy training with the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes manages to impress his fans with something new almost every time. But as the 2023 NFL season approaches, his primary goal will be to win the Super Bowl for the third time.
