“He only thinks about himself,” Vikings CB Patrick Peterson BLASTS former teammate Kyler Murray for his narcissistic attitude during games

Kyler Murray was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as the franchise thought that the rookie had the potential to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league and he did perform that way in his initial seasons.

Murray’s great rookie performance inspired him to bag one of the biggest contracts in the NFL worth 230.5 million for 5 years. The 25-year-old was offered one of the biggest contracts ever and maybe that has been a mistake.

Recently, Murray’s old teammate Patrick Peterson poked the Cardinals QB in a podcast “All Things Covered” and didn’t have any good things to say about him. Although Murray is known to be a player with a huge ego and attitude, recently these qualities have been more prevalent during games.

The Cardinals QB was involved in a verbally heated argument with Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury and was seen shouting at him mid-game. This wasn’t expected from a 25-year-old and the whole NFL world was shaken.

“Kyler Murray don’t care about nobody but Kyler Murray,” Peterson said. “That’s just a matter of fact.” Ever since signing the new contract, Murray hasn’t been able to prove his worth on the field. Peterson only played with Murray for two seasons before moving to the Minnesota Vikings.

Kyler Murray and the Cardinals may end the season without a playoff run

Kyler Murray makes us all understand that football is a team sport and no matter how much you get paid, you can’t be better than the whole team. Especially when you’ve just started your career.

The Cardinals have an abysmal 4-8 record this season and the playoffs look like a distant reality for them. This can be brought down to a lack of chemistry and mismanagement.

Murray and HC Kliff Kingsbury’s lack of coordination is pretty visible during the game as they frequently throw each other under the bus when speaking to the media.

The Cardinals are 3rd in their division with the solid 49ers on the tabletop and the decent Seahawks in second place. The season is practically over for the Arizona-based team and now they just need to end the season on a high note so the coaches and players can keep their jobs.

Kyler Murray needs to work on himself as he’s the main talisman of the Cardinals side and he needs to coordinate with his teammates and play to each other’s strengths. He can just start right from the team’s next game against the Patriots.
