“I’ll get an 88 on my forehead”: Rapper Post Malone VOWS to get a bizarre tattoo if the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl

Post Malone made a bizarre promise to the playmaker over dinner.

We all need the same level of optimism in life that Dallas Cowboys fans have. The team has one of the most loyal fan bases in all sports. Irrespective of how good or bad the team fares in the regular season, Cowboys fans will always believe that the team will go the distance and make the Super Bowl every single year.

If they do not, in that case, they just come up with reasons to justify the team’s absence from the finals and begin to make bold claims stating that the team would be there for sure in the following season.

Out of all the Cowboys fans, the biggest is Michael Irvin. The former wide receiver for the team has a stacked resume. He had a stellar career as a Dallas Cowboys himself, having had 750 receptions, 11,904 yards, and 65 touchdowns in his career. He was also a part of the 1996 Super Bowl-winning team under Barry Switzer. The playmaker, as he is fondly known, was seen pushing the narrative of the team making and winning the 2022 Super Bowl at a dinner with friends in Dallas recently.

This may have been the safest bet that Post Malone made in his entire life:

Michael Irvin and Post Malone
Michael Irvin helped iconize the jersey number 88.

The dinner had a lot of star power with persons such as Drew Pearson, Dez Bryant, and the most notable presence there was Post Malone. The popular rapper, who is known for his unusual sense of style, was in Texas and had performed at a concert earlier that night. Michael Irvin kicked off the dinner party by making a bold statement. “If the Cowboys win the Super Bowl in Arizona, we replicate(this) dinner.”

The 2022 Super Bowl is scheduled to take place in Arizona and Irvin is counting on America’s team to be playing in that game. Here’s where it gets interesting. Post Malone takes it up a notch and throws in a wager stating “If the Cowboys win the Super Bowl, then I’ll get a 88 on my forehead.”

Post Malone loves tattoos if one could already not tell that by just taking a look at him. He vowed to add another one to his collection if the team wins the Super Bowl. What is interesting is that he does not really mention a timeline. So the team could win a ring this year or in the near future and we could hold Posty accountable for the promise that he made.

The reason he chose the number 88 was as a mark of respect to Michael Irvin, who also wore 88 during his time as a Dallas Cowboy. This was either the safest bet that Post Malone had ever made or it could end up being the worst one. Here’s how fans reacted on social media to the rapper’s comments.

It’s a smart bet. There is no way Dallas wins the Super Bowl in the near future, and it is doubtful if the team can even make it past the first round of the playoffs.

We need a lesson on how to remain positive despite facing constant setbacks from Michael Irvin.

The Last Supper. Texas version.

The most sauced Pastor in the whole country.

Post Malone knew that which explains why he made that wager!

The collaboration that we didn’t know we needed but got.

It will not be if Post Malone has to get an 88 on his forehead. The man already has tattoos on there, at this rate, he would need to get that tattoo right in the middle of his forehead.

The main reason for Post Malone making that bet.

The Cowboys have a 4-2 record this season. Dak Prescott is expected to return to the team this week after he recovered from his thumb injury. However, calling them a Super Bowl team is a far fetch. They do not have the best record within their own division. In all likelihood, we will see a repeat of last year as the team may end up losing in the divisional round of the playoffs.
