“Pray for Dane Jackson,” Twitter Reacts to Bills CB suffering HORRIFIC injury after colliding with teammate against the Titans

Dane Jackson wasn’t on the field to celebrate after the Buffalo Bills won their second consecutive game to start the season on a high note. Jackson was carted off in an ambulance following a collision with teammate Tremaine Edmunds. Jackson was taken to Erie County Medical Center for further evaluation.

The collision took place when Jackson was tackling Tennessee Titans’ Treylon Burks, Edmunds joined in to help Jackson but his shoulder hit Jackson’s helmet. Jackson’s head snapped back as he fell to the ground. Dane Jackson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 7th round of the 2020 NFL draft and has slowly earned himself a steady place in the squad and is now an important cog in the Bills defense. In the season opener against the LA Rams he intercepted Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford. After the collision as Jackson lay there on the ground everyone in the stadium and watching the game prayed and hoped for Jackson’s health. Trainers assessed Jackson after which an ambulance came to take him. The Bills eventually won the game 41-7 but with Jackson in their hearts and minds.

Bills mafia prays for Dane Jackson after horrific injury scare

Teammates surrounded Dane Jackson as he was tended to by the available personnel before being stretchered off. After the game Bills’ head coach Sean McDermott said-“Still awaiting word and obviously praying for Dane.”

He added-“You go from the real part of it here; you go from being a coach to just being a human when I’m out there watching him getting loaded into the ambulance. That’s a real moment.”

Bills fans and football fans in general took to twitter to express their well wishes and prayers for Jackson-

Per the latest reports the prayers have been answered as Jackson was released from the hospital and the tests that were performed revealed that he sustained no major injury to his neck or spinal cord. He will undergo further evaluation.
