Kliff Kingsbury was unceremoniously fired as the HC of the Arizona Cardinals after performing terribly in the NFL, despite having a great team. The former Cardinals HC was fired after a miserable 4-13 record in the regular season. The management had lots of expectations from the young HC as he had just come off an 11-6 season that helped the Cardinals qualify for the playoffs.

It is also reported that Kingsbury was fired because his relationship with QB Kyler Murray had turned sour and the duo didn’t look eye to eye. Murray had just signed a $230 million contract for five years, making him one of the highest-paid QBs in the league.

Kingsbury had a contract that would have lasted three more years. However, his tenure was cut short and his contract was terminated by the Cardinals’ management.

Nonetheless, the former HC decided to look at this situation as an opportunity to go on a long vacation. It is recently reported that Kingsbury booked a one-way ticket to Thailand to enjoy a nice and extravagant vacation.

The 43-year-old coach has no desire to come back anytime soon and has also not shown his desire to coach teams anymore. Kingsbury had numerous offers from NFL teams asking him to be their OC. However, the former HC has other plans.

The 43-year-old coach is wanted by many teams to handle their offense irrespective of the terrible form with the Cardinals this season. This suggests that the former Cardinals HC was not the problem at all and maybe it’s something else.

There are also lots of speculations stating that Kyler Murray’s new humongous contract could have been the reason for the Cardinals’ downfall. Since earning his new contract, Murray has been reluctant to study game films and doesn’t show the same passion he showed when he didn’t have the massive $230 million contract.

It is still unknown what Kingsbury will do after he comes back from the lucrative vacation that the former HC has opted to go for. However, if he wishes to become a coach again, there are multiple job offers lined up for him.

Though it is not confirmed which team is eyeing him up, there are rumors that the Patriots, Commanders, Rams, Jets, and Titans, all are looking for a change in their coaching staff and can approach the 43-year-old for assistance.
