“The hue & cry will be unimaginable”: Rich Eisen reckons things might go HORRIBLY wrong if Deshaun Watson gets to play all games in the coming season

Deshaun Watson and Rich Eisen
Deshaun Watson signed a massive deal with the Cleveland Browns a little while ago but apart from that, the man has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. He has been alleged by over 60 women on charges of sexual molestation and harassment.
Watson currently has 26 civil lawsuits filed against him. Moreover, the Browns have also faced a lot of flak for backing him against all odds. In addition to all this, the NFL is inclined on handing out severe punishment to the quarterback for his involvement in the sexual harassment cases due to which the QB might even end up missing the entire 2022-23 season.
“They are looking to highlight NFL’s hypocrisy when it comes to disciplining owners”: Rich Eisen on NFLPA asking for zero game penalty for Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson’s disciplinary proceedings are going on between the NFL and the players association and many are expecting that Deshaun will be punished severely. Talking about the same, Rich Eisen had a few things to say on his show. Rich claimed that the NFL has reportedly asked for an indefinite suspension for Deshaun Watson. “This means, Deshaun would have to sit out this year and apply for reinstatement next year,” he said.
“On the other end, the players association is asking for zero games. I understand the reason behind the standpoint of zero games. They want to highlight the hypocrisy of NFL’s stance of disciplining owners and players,” Rich claimed, adding that if this all comes up with zero games, there will be a major hue and cry.
“Zero games for Deshaun Watson’s behavior. All you have to do is read the deposition and read the details and hear his complete lack of ability to rationally explain himself,” Eisen stated, adding that if he gets to play all games and walk away with $46 million, would make everyone involved look absolutely horrible.
Rich went to add that the ramifications can’t be even imagined if after all this, Deshaun loses no games and take home heaps of money. “What a mess that would be,” he added.
