“I have them sweeping the NFC”: Rich Eisen predicts the Philadelphia Eagles will walk away with the division
The Eagles offensive lineup is a force to be reckoned with in the NFC East
It’s a great time to be an Eagles fan, the Philadelphia Eagles are back to being serious contenders for the NFC East divisional title as well as the entire NFC. The team has made multiple new additions on both ends of the football. With A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Jalen Hurts, the offense is fierce, the O-line is also solid and capable of protecting the quarterback. The only concern for the team has been Jalen Hurts’ throwing accuracy which we expect will get better this season.
On the defensive end as well, the team has solid players in every position and not any visible lacking on paper. Considering this, fans and analysts alike have a lot of expectations from the Eagles, will they live up to it or not, that is to be seen.

“Jalen Hurts will account for more than 30 TDs next year”: Rich Eisen makes a bold prediction about the QB’s performance this season
Rich Eisen is all in on the Philadelphia Eagles hype train. He recently went through the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2022 NFL season and if we are to go by his predictions, Eagles fans should begin preparations for celebrations as the team will cruise through the NFC East and possibly do well in the playoffs as well.
As per the predictions from Eisen, the Eagles will end the season with a stellar record of 12-5 which means they clinch the division unless the Cowboys play better which is something we are not certain of at the moment. “Nakobe Dean, he’s gonna be healthy, A.J. Brown, come on Jalen (Hurts). What I said is not out of the realm, I have them splitting their division games, I have them 3-3 in division, they split their games against the AFC South, and I have them performing well against the NFC North, I have them sweeping the NFC North,” Eisen said.
The topic of Jalen Hurts came up as the accuracy of his throws has been a cause for concern for many. He will need to come up big as last year he had 16 passing TDs and a mediocre completion percentage of 61.3. He most certainly needs to improve on that. Rich Eisen makes a bold prediction about how Jalen Hurts will perform this upcoming season, “Jalen Hurts will account for more than 30 TDs next year, he would have put the ball in the end zone either himself or throw it in there, 30 times,” he predicts.
That is a big jump from 16 throwing TDs nearly double. Going by analytics, Hurts will need to bump that number up to 35 touchdowns total, passing and rushing included. Rich Eisen believes that his struggles in throwing the ball are not an issue and he will have a better passing percentage this season, “Of course, and he will be (a better passer than last year) because he is Jalen freaking Hurts.”
Hurts has a lot of expectations riding on his shoulders this season, and for good reason, this is the best Eagles squad in a long time, and the team has gone all in while assembling this roster. It will be interesting to see if Eisen’s predictions do pan out to be true or not.
