The NFL World has gone crazy with the Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson‘s performance after seeing him demolishing the Houston Texans. Jackson had a four-touchdown game against the Texans, leading the Ravens to the AFC Championship game. They would be facing the Kansas City Chiefs in the electrifying matchup.

The four-touchdown game by Jackson has attracted a lot of discussion among analysts. The latest to join the bandwagon is Richard Sherman, who in the latest episode of the show Undisputed, claimed that Jackson had his career-best outing against the Texans in the divisional round.

I think he played the most impressive playoff games for sure. I would give him 10 out of 10. Especially when they struggled. They struggled in the first half. 23 net passing yards at the half, they were winning by one point. They went to the first half, they went to the locker room, made great adjustments, he comes out throws it for another 50-60 yards, a couple of touchdowns and he just dominated and controlled the game.
Sherman said

It is true that at halftime, both teams were nearly on the same page. The Texans were fighting on equal grounds with the Ravens. Though the Ravens were clear favorites in the playoff, it seemed that the Texans could also win the game.

But, the changed mentality of Lamar Jackson was the key to deciding the result of the game. The changed body language of the quarterback, along with his peers, helped the team to seal the game.

Lamar Jackson cursed himself during the halftime

In the press conference after the game, Lamar Jackson opened himself up regarding his mentality going into the second half. He admitted that he cursed himself with some strong words. Some words that he could not reveal in front of the press.

I did it. A lot of cursing at halftime. It would be inappropriate to say that right here. It would. We were not doing things. The defense was playing well. The offense was also playing well. But we were not doing our job. Our unit… In the second half, we put points on the boards, and started moving the ball.

That was probably the sole reason that the NFL world saw a changed Ravens squad in the second half. Jackson also did a lot of accurate things. As Sherman pointed out, he moved the ball perfectly and made a lot of accurate passes. The analyst ended up giving the most amount of credit to the quarterback.

However, it cannot be denied that the Ravens had an extra advantage. Their defense had a great game, along with their quarterback. With this, they managed to seal the Divisional round. The team is set for home AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday.
