According to retired four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski, the Kansas City Chiefs are headed for greatness and will be viewed as a dynasty if they win another Super Bowl on Sunday.

The Chiefs are set to play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII this Sunday. It will be their fourth Super Bowl in six years. However, they will also become the first team since the 2003-04 New England Patriots to repeat as champions, if they manage to win the Super Bowl this year. Gronkowski believes that another title will cement them as a dynasty.

Gronkowski told CNN:

They are that close to a dynasty. If they win this game, I would say they are a dynasty. Even if they lose and they won a Super Bowl next year, I would say they’re a dynasty. They just got to get that third Super Bowl win over a decade.

On Sunday, fans will swarm the cutting-edge Allegiant Stadium, also known as the “Death Star,” to witness Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. It will take the Chiefs another four Super Bowls to catch up with the greatest dynasty of the 21st century, the New England Patriots. However, Kansas City has all the right tools to make that happen.

Rob Gronkowski calls the Patrick Mahomes-Travis Kelce partnership ‘one of the greatest’

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have a great chance of cementing themselves as one of the best QB-TE duos in league history, if they haven’t already. Rob Gronkowski certainly thinks that they are. The former New England Patriots’ TE believes that the Mahomes-Kelce partnership is already “one of the greatest” to ever play the game.

Gronkowski said:

They’ve been building that connection since day one that they became teammates … And they just keep building on it. They’re amping up their game. They’re amping up their level of play every single year, week in and week out. And that’s why they’re staying at the top.

He further continued:

They’ve been there in these big moments so many times that they know how to handle the pressure. You can just tell by the way they talk to the media, the way they carry themselves, the way that they just prepare week in and week out...they can handle the pressure.
Rob Gronkowski added

The Chiefs will enter Sunday’s Super Bowl as underdogs, despite their recent success in the postseason. They have the required experience though, and in Mahomes and Kelce, they have a deadly duo that has been at this stage before and have won it all twice. It will be a fascinating matchup on Sunday.
