Rob Gronkowski’s cryptic tweet hints at possible reunion with Tom Brady

Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady have shared a great partnership on and off the field. The duo has won 4 Super Bowl titles and looked unbeatable when playing together.

Gronks and TB12, both retired together at the start of the season. However, Brady decided to unretire and re-join the NFL, whereas Gronkowski took a job as a Fox Sports broadcaster for NFL games.

Gronkowski decided to send the whole NFL world into a frenzy by posting a cryptic tweet. The future Hall of Famer wrote only three words on his Twitter, but those three words were strong enough to create a buzz around social media.

“I’m kinda bored,” Gronkowski stated on his Twitter. These three words can mean anything under a parameter of many possibilities. However, we would like to believe that Gronks is bored with his life after retirement and wants in on the NFL post-season action that will go down in the coming months.

Ever since the tweet by the former Patriots TE has gone viral, people have started to assume the team he will join. There are a couple of options, however, the most prominent one is reuniting with his friend, brother, and confidant, Tom Brady. The duo used to be inseparable when playing together and it will be great to see them go out with one last bout of glory.

When Tom Brady left the Patriots to join the Bucs, his long-time friend Rob Gronkowski followed him there, and the duo won the Super Bowl with the Bucs in their first season there.

Currently, the Bucs are in a precarious position; even though they are leading the division. Although they have a 6-8 losing record in the NFL, coupled with various issues in the team, the Bucs can’t be regarded as Super Bowl contenders.

Nonetheless, all can be changed if Gronkowski decides to join the Bucs for just the playoffs, and maybe the splendid duo can make something happen and go out with glory in their last season ever.

Rob Gronkowski is still fit and fast and will be a menace to the opposition team when running with the ball. Tom Brady is also equally comfortable passing the ball to him instead of current Bucs TE Cade Otton.

There is also a possibility that Gronkowski will follow Brady to his next team as Bucs QB’s contract expires next season and he will be a free agent. However, the former TE had also asked Brady to join Fox Sports as a broadcaster and leave the NFL for good.
