“That dude is an absolute beast,” Rob Gronkowski DECLARES Justin Fields has what it takes to become the Bears’ franchise quarterback

Four-time Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski has high praises for the Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields, who has made a huge leap during the second year of his young career. The former Buccaneers tight end Gronkowski believes that Fields has what it takes to become the long-time signal caller for the Chicago-based football team.
The legendary tight end recently sat down with Josh Schrock of NBC Sports Chicago during the Super Bowl media availability to talk about the upcoming Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. During the interview, he talked out the former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields and his ability to potentially become the franchise quarterback in the league.
“I mean … that dude is an absolute beast,” Gronkowski said on Tuesday about the Bears quarterback Justin Fields. “There is no doubt about that. When I see that guy run, I think he’s the best runner in the whole NFL. He just looks like a gazelle out there. Just the way he sprints and how he puts the burners on and he’s just flying by defenders, flying by corners. I definitely think he’s a franchise quarterback.”
Like Gronkowski said the second-year quarterback Justin Fields has all the talent and potential it would take to become the franchise quarterback for the Bears who hasn’t had a good QB in years. The Bears’ last good QB was Jay Cutler who made just 1 Pro Bowl in 12 seasons and it wasn’t even when he played for them.
The Bears need to surround Justin Fields with a lot of talent
Even though Justin Fields has all the intangibles and all the talent in the world, Gronkowski believes Fields will still need a lot of help from his teammates and the front office.
“I just think you need the right system around you when you are that type of talent and to utilize that talent in the right way,” Gronkowski said. “I feel like he’s still kind of feeling it out in the NFL. He broke a couple records, so you just have to figure out a way to use that the right way. I believe he can have a very successful career. And get the right weapons around him as well that can utilize his skill set.”
The Chicago Bears in recent times have been awful at the quarterback position but they somehow made a good decision to trade up and draft Justin Fields, now like Rob Gronkowski suggested they just have to put some talent around the QB for him to have success.
