Rob Gronkowski is one of the most dominant football players of all time. He used to bully the opposing defenders during his time in the league. The New England Patriots icon retired from football for the second time in the 2022 off-season. Back in 2019, when Gronkowski was still playing for the Patriots, his mom Diane Gronkowski shared one thing she would like her son to learn from Tom Brady.

During a 2019 interview with TODAY, Diane, mother of the 4-time Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski revealed one thing she wants the tight end to learn from his long-time Patriots teammate Tom Brady.

“Say, ‘Hi Mom,’” Diane Gronkowski told ‘Today’ show anchor Sheinelle Jones“After every interview at the end of the game, Tom Brady says, ‘Hi Mom! Hi Mom!’ Every once in a while I see Rob up there and I’m like, ‘OK, he’s going to say, ‘Hi Mom,’ and then they’re like, ‘OK, thanks Rob,’ and he’s like, ‘OK, thanks,’ and he walks away. I’m like, ‘Where’s the ‘Hi Mom’?’”

Tom Brady did have a habit of saying hi to his mother after the interviews. Nevertheless, Brady and Gronk went on to win the Super Bowl ring that season, and shortly after the 4-time All-Pro tight end announced his decision to retire only to make a comeback to the league with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a year later.

The Patriots legend Tom Brady is arguably the greatest football player to ever step onto the field. He has won the coveted Super Bowl rings 7 times during his 23-year-long career in the league.

Brady certainly had a lot of great teammates throughout his career but none of them would come close to the bonding that the 5-time Pro Bowl tight end shares with the 15-time Pro Bowl QB.

Gronk played his whole career with Tom Brady as his quarterback. The 6’6″ tight end first shared the field with Brady for 9 years in New England and won 3 Super Bowl rings.

And then, Gronkowski made a comeback from retirement to join forces with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay in 2020 and won a Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers. Brady still has won 3 rings without Gronk during his early days but Gronkowski certainly played a huge part in the legendary career of the greatest quarterback of all time.
