On Monday, the Jacksonville Jaguars, led by their star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, went against the Cincinnati Bengals in their week 13 matchup. The game took place at the EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, which is famous for the pool built inside the stadium. Even in the chilly December climate, a few brave souls had fun dipping in the pool, including ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III was working as an analyst with ESPN for their pregame show. While wrapping up the show, his co-host said “It was time to splash”. Griffin seemingly took that comment literally as he shouted at the top of his lungs and dove right into the pool and splashed the people in the lower stands.
Moreover, Griffin literally dove right into the pool while wearing his nice suit and shoes. The brief video of Griffin diving into the pool made rounds on social media and accumulated more than 1.1 million views within just hours of posting.
Apart from Robert Griffin III, many other fans also had fun dipping their toes and body in the pool in the chilling climate. The pool was built in the stadium back in 2014 as part of a $63 million upgrade package.
On the sporting side of things, the Jaguars suffered a brutal loss against the Bengals on Monday. This was the first time the Jaguars played on Monday Night Football since 2011. But, they suffered a 31-34 loss against second-stringer Jake Browning-led Bengals.
Robert Griffin III offered to sign with the Browns
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III’s career ended prematurely due to constant injuries. He is now working as an analyst with ESPN, but it seems like the flame inside him hasn’t been put out yet.

During a recent episode of his podcast “RG3 and the Ones,” Griffin offered to sign with the Cleveland Browns after their starting QB Deshaun Watson was ruled out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
The Browns should start me as quarterback. One, at 33 years old, I understand the game better than I ever have in my entire career.Griffin on RG3 and the Ones
However, the Browns looked on the side as they signed Joe Flacco to their squad. So, as of now, RG3 will continue to work as an analyst instead of getting back on the field.
