Robert Kraft is the billionaire owner of the most successful team in the league – the New England Patriots. He has owned the team since 1994 and the organization has won six Super Bowls since then.
As all billionaires do, Kraft has expensive taste, but the latest purchase of his has gotten him in legal trouble. The 81-year-old bought a $43 million beachfront palace in the Hamptons and wishes to build an elevator.
However, the city officials aren’t allowing Kraft to install an elevator and that’s why he is taking Southampton officials to court. Kraft is represented by Mike Sendlenski and he claimed that the Pats owner needs the lift for medical reasons. “Doctors have advised him to limit his traversing stairs as much as possible,” Sendlenski said. Patriots’ team physician Dr. Mark D. Price also signed an affidavit claiming Rober Kraft has “progressive knee pain” and the elevator was a necessity for him.
Some people claimed that Robert Kraft has been spotted swinging golf and playing tennis with his beautiful wife Dana Blumberg. The city is fighting Kraft because he is hell-bent on building an outdoor elevator rather than an inside one which looks out of place in the community. Kraft’s lawyer pointed out that an interior elevator would cost $2.47 million, while an exterior one would cost $1.16 million.
Some members of the community have no problem with Robert Kraft doing whatever he wants with his house because he pays his taxes as an American citizen so he has earned the right to do as per his wish.

Robert Kraft wants the Patriots to make the playoffs in 2023

Robert Kraft attended the league’s annual meeting in Pheonix where he was asked by the Patriots’ second losing season in the last three years. Reporters asked whether he had lost confidence in longtime head coach and general manager Bill Belichick.
“We’re about winning, and doing whatever we can to win. And that’s what our focus is now. And I — it’s very important to me that we make the playoffs, and that’s what I hope happens next year,” Kraft said.
It would seem like Belichick is on the hot seat for the 2023 season. As an owner, Kraft has been habituated to being invited to the stage and being handed over the Lombardi Trophy. He would obviously expect the same again and if the current guy can’t make it happen then he’ll bring in someone who can.
Let’s see how the Patriots fare in the coming season!
