Robert Kraft threw the most impromptu wedding party of all time. The 81-year-old had been dating the 47-year-old doctor, Dana Blumberg, for quite some time now as the couple decided to get married a few weeks ago at an Elton John concert.
It all started when they were backstage at the Elton John concert and John volunteered to perform at their wedding. This gave the couple the idea to tie the knot as you never know when your last day on Earth is.
The Patriots owner invited the guests by calling them for a “Kickoff and a touchdown party” but soon it became the wedding and a dance party at Lumières in Manhattan. The couple got engaged earlier this year and have been dating since 2019.
Before Dana, Robert Kraft was married before to his college sweetheart Myra Hiatt, who died in 2011 due to ovarian cancer. The two were married for 50 years. Kraft then dated Ricki Lander, but the couple broke up due to various reasons.
“They wanted to get in a zone of sharing happiness with one another, and bringing people together,” one source told the gossip column.

The Kraft-Blumberg marriage was graced by the legend himself, Elton John, who specially flew to New York just to perform at the wedding. The wedding also included performances from Meek Mill and Pop icon Ed Sheeran.
The wedding list was packed with A-listers from every possible field. The standouts among them were the Bucs QB Tom Brady, former Patriots Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss, Ty Law, Richard Seymour, Troy Brown, Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo, Devin McCourty, Matthew Slater and David Andrews all were present on this gracious occasion.
Tom Brady was all smiles as he arrived in New York for the ceremony, but his wife, Gisele, wasn’t accompanying the seven-time Super Bowl winner as the couple was going through a rough patch in their marriage. Brady was later seen hanging out with Bon Jovi, who was also part of the guest list.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was also present for the ceremony, as it’s reported that Robert Kraft and the NFL commissioner share a good friendship.
Robert Kraft and Dana Blumberg had been dating for more than 3 years before getting married, as they made their relationship public in the French Open in June 2019.
