The Thursday Night Football game between the Colts and the Broncos can be dubbed as one of the worst games of all time in recent history and QB Russell Wilson was at the centre of it.

The Colts-Broncos game didn’t have a single touchdown, which included six trips to the end zone. The game went into overtime and the Colts managed to take home the win with a score of 12-9.

The biggest blunder of the game was committed by Broncos QB Russell Wilson. Instead of running the ball for 1 yard and going for the field goal, Wilson and HC Nathaniel Hackett went for glory and tried to pass the ball into the end-zone for a touchdown and the results were as expected. The Colts CB Stephon Gilmore blocked it.

Former Seahawks CB and NFL analyst Richard Sherman was furious after this blunder from Russell Wilson and went on a rant and roasted the QB for his mistake again.

“On the final play, you gotta run the ball. Again. I wish I had Marshawn up here. Like, 1 yard. You need 1 yard. Run the ball. Run the ball! All he has to do is run the football. Necessary criticism. It looks like Russell Wilson doesn’t learn from his mistakes. Richard Sherman pointed out that Wilson committed the same mistake when they were competing for the Super Bowl with the Seahawks. Wilson had the chance to run the ball 1 yard with Marshawn Lynch but decided to pass it instead. The pass got blocked and the Seahawks ultimately lost the game to the Patriots.

Richard Sherman was angry and the way he was speaking, it looked like he has been holding things in since 2015. Finally, Sherman got an outlet to call out Russell Wilson for his incompetence.

If someone had to sum up the Thursday Night Football game, Wilson’s mistake against the Colts should be enough. The game was tedious, leading to some of the fans to leave the stadium even before the OT had started. It was a sad game that should silently disappear into the night.
