Russell Wilson is currently the worst QB in the league and it’s not even a competition. The Broncos QB was regarded as a future Hall of Famer during his time with the Seahawks.
However, his fall from grace is astronomical, as the Super Bowl winner is struggling to throw the most basic passes. Wilson’s performance against the Rams was probably the worst game of his career. He ended the game while completing 15 of 27 passes for just one touchdown and threw 3 interceptions as the Broncos lost the Rams in a one-sided hammering with a score of 51-14.
Nonetheless, the biggest insult for Wilson was not throwing three interceptions, but being roasted by Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants. The Christmas eve matchup of the Broncos-Rams was televised on Nickelodeon to make the younger generation more aware of the sport.
Patrick Star was the commentator for quite some while on the Christmas special game. When Wilson threw a big interception during the game and Patrick Star quickly called him out for it. “That’s not what he wanted to cook!”
Wilson is known for his #LetRussCook tagline since his Seahawks days when he used to terrify defenses with amazing passes and great mobility. However, Russ is not able to cook anything with the Broncos. Instead, he is being cooked by the opposition defenders.

Wilson experienced it all in the Broncos-Rams game. First, he played the worst game of his career, then he got roasted by a cartoon character from SpongeBob SquarePants. However, that wasn’t enough, as social media decided to roast him further for the sole reason of being roasted by Patrick Star.
Wilson is stuck in a cycle currently where he plays a bad game and gets roasted the next day. This cycle keeps on going every week, as there are no changes. However, if Wilson wants to keep his legacy intact, then he’ll have to change his form and deliver something exceptional.
The Broncos QB is in a precarious situation as he has signed a humongous four-year contract with the team and will have to perform as there’s no other option. With HC Nathaniel Hackett fired after losing miserably to the Rams, there is still hope left for Wilson.
The Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson have conjured probably the worst season of their career as they currently sit 4th in the division with no hopes for the playoffs.
