“Massive advantage to the Broncos” QB Russell Wilson brutally roasted on Twitter after being ruled out for the Broncos-Jets game

Russell Wilson
Russell Wilson‘s performance has been sub-par so far this season for the Broncos. The Super Bowl winner has probably had the worst start ever in his career as he struggles to find form in his new team. The Broncos are currently 2-4 in the NFL and were touted to challenge for the division with the addition of the superstar QB.
Wilson was criticized a lot after this disappointing start to the season and the news of his minor injury in their last game may have come as a relief to many fans as the former Seahawks QB has been ruled out of the Jets game on MNF.
The Broncos lost to the Chargers in OT last week where Russell Wilson suffered a minor hamstring injury and there were many rumors that the QB won’t play for the Jets game as they were confirmed when HC Nathaniel Hackett stated that the Broncos QB won’t be part of the game and backup QB Brett Rypien will take his place.
Although Russell Wilson was hopeful to play against the Jets, Nathaniel Hackett decided otherwise and gave backup QB Brett Rypien a run in the first team. Rypien has been part of the Broncos for the past three seasons but has spent the most time in the practice squad.
NFL Twitter rejoices as they found out Broncos QB Russell Wilson isn’t playing in the Jets game

Twitter launched a scathing attack on Russell Wilson after news of him not being part of the Broncos match-day squad went viral. Many fans were also delighted as Wilson is out of form and maybe backup QB Brett Rypien will prove to be a better option.
Brett Rypien will be expected to perform well as the backup QB is getting massive support from the fans. Although the Jets fans are upset as they won’t get to see the out-of-form Russell Wilson in the game and won’t be given an easy win.
Russell Wilson has managed only 5 touchdowns for 1,442 yards in six games. The Broncos QB has an average of less than a touchdown every game and fans will be hoping backup QB Brett Rypien will be the better amongst the two.
The Broncos are set to face the Jets who have just found momentum in the league and will be a tough opponent to crack. Although backup QB Brett Rypien is already 1-0 against the Jets, as the last game he played was against them.
