Star QB Russell Wilson has been in the limelight for quite some time now. For the Seahawks, he wasn’t able to perform as per expectations in the last season and we were expecting him to find another franchise which is exactly what happened. The talented QB was recently roped in by the Denver Broncos.

It would be fair to say that Wilson’s magic has well and truly started working as after Wilson was confirmed as the new quarterback for the Broncos, the sales of his new jersey ended up breaking all the records. Indeed, the NFL world is excited to see how Wilson performs for the Browns.

Preparations for the coming season have started in full flow. Talking about his transition from the Seahawks to the Broncos, and about playing against his former franchise, Wilson recently stated, “It’s got to be non-emotional. You’ve got to go into it with the understanding that it’s just ball.”

Wilson stated that Seattle will always remain a very special place for him. “I think it’s going to be an exciting time. Obviously, Seattle’s meant the world to me over the past 10 years. It’s a special place, a special place to play. You know, I have a high regard for all those guys over there.”

Wilson also stressed the importance of taking the field with a neutral mindset. “I’ve always played with a neutral mindset,” Wilson said. “I’m a positive person by nature and I believe in non-negativity. So, what I really believe in is the ability to be neutral in the midst of the storm, in the midst of chaos, in the midst of opportunity, in good times, challenging times, to be able to play this game even-keeled in the midst of it all,” he added.
