Broncos Country, let’s cry. After watching the Denver Broncos performance against the Houston Texans tonight, no fan of football in Denver is happy. Russell Wilson might as well have an arrest warrant out for him after the horrendous show that he put on.

The quarterback worth a quarter of a billion dollars had not 1, not 2, but 3 interceptions, all of which came in the second half, right when the team was attempting to come back from a deficit to beat the Texans.

Russell Wilson managed to throw for one touchdown and even had a rushing touchdown. Despite all those turnovers and having merely 186 yards passing throughout the game, he had one opportunity to shut all the critics up. Russ had the chance to throw for a game-winning touchdown with under 30 seconds left in the 4th quarter of the game. The Broncos trailed 17-22 and a touchdown at this juncture would have led the team to a victory.

The hopes were high amongst fans because Wilson had done this just last week, led a game-winning drive, and came up clutch. He can do it again, or so they thought.

Alas, let alone throwing a pass to the end zone and coming up short on it or failing in an attempt to rush the ball, Russ ended up throwing his third interception of the night on the final play of the game that would have given the Broncos the victory.

Russell Wilson trolled for blowing yet another game-winning drive

Wilson has given Broncos fans a ray of hope in recent weeks. He has been looking like his original self from Seattle lately. But with his most recent play, he may have become a bit too similar to his previous self as he played like Russell Wilson from Super Bowl XLIX who ended up throwing an interception on the final drive of the game.

This time, it was Jimmie Ward who managed to pick off Wilson in the endzone. Here’s how fans reacted to the quarterback coming up short in clutch time yet again.

Wilson just cannot catch a break. The quarterback’s kryptonite is coming up clutch in the final moments when he is just under 10 yards away from the red zone. With this, the Broncos’ record moves to 6-6 on the season while the Texans improve to 7-5.
