Russell Wilson has been in the limelight for quite some time now. For the Seahawks, he wasn’t able to perform as per expectations in the last season and we were expecting him to find another franchise which is exactly what happened. The talented QB was roped in by the Denver Broncos.
It would be fair to say that his magic has already started working as after Wilson was confirmed as the new quarterback for the Broncos, the sales for his new jersey ended up breaking all the records. Even the Tom Brady, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen jerseys were not able to give the Wilson jersey a tough competition.
Ciara and Russell Wilson hogged the limelight at ESPYs
Recently, the star quarterback was spotted at the ESPYs along with his wife Ciara. The power couple ended up grabbing everyone’s attention at the event as they were looking nothing short of stunning. While Wilson was wearing a black and grey suit, Ciara sizzled in black velvet dress that had a plunging neckline.
Ciara and Russell also served as presenters at the event. They jointly introduced the Pat Tillman Award for service. The stunning couple also shed light on the importance of promoting women in sports. In an interaction with ESPN on the red carpet, the Broncos QB claimed “I think women’s sports is amazing.”
With their powerful thoughts and absolutely magnificent looks, both, Russell and Ciara stole the show. Wilson is undoubtedly a fantastic QB and a family fan. The Broncos star now has a huge responsibility on his shoulders as he would have to lead the Broncos from the front in the coming season.
It will be interesting to see if he can justify the hype he has been able to create.
