On Monday night, the Minnesota Vikings led by their star quarterback Kirk Cousins caused a major upset when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in their week 7 matchup. The Vikings’ rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison had a breakout game and registered multiple touchdowns. After the game, ESPN personality Ryan Clark had an interesting analogy about Addison’s game involving Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

On Monday night, Jordan Addison ran away from these defenders like Jada Pinkett Smith running away from marriage responsibilities.

As soon as Ryan Clark made that joke, the entire panel started to cover their face to control their laughter. It was indeed an interesting analogy from the former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back.

The joke from the show was clipped by an X user and was posted on social media, which has accumulated more than 854k views within hours. Clark should just hope that Will Smith doesn’t hear that Jada Pinkett-Smith joke.

On that sporting side of things, the Vikings rookie Jordan Addison really made the 49ers defensive backs look very bad on National television during their week 7 matchup. Addison caught 7 passes for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns while averaging 17.6 yards per reception.

As a result, the Minnesota-based football team was able to cause a major upset on Monday by slaying the NFC powerhouse Niners. It was an impressive victory for the Vikings who played the game without their star pass catcher, Justin Jefferson.

With that victory, the Vikings moved to a 3-4 record. They have won 3 out of their last 4 games and have bounced back nicely after starting the season with three straight losses.

Jordan Addison has been impressive in his rookie campaign

The Minnesota Vikings drafted the USC product Jordan Addison in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. So far, Addison has been very impressive in purple threads.

Through the first 8 weeks, Addison has caught 29 passes for 400 yards and 6 touchdowns. He ranks 4th in the league in receiving yards, but he ranks No. 1 in receiving touchdowns.

Addison has been a great asset for the Vikings, especially in the absence of their premium wideout, Justin Jefferson. It would be exciting to see the pair of Addison and Jefferson burning the opposing defensive backs for years to come.

For now, Addison will be focused on helping Kirk Cousins and the Vikings defeat their NFC North division rivals Green Bay Packers in their week 8 game this Sunday.
