Ryan Clark is a former American football safety who used to play for the Giants in the NFL. After playing in the league for 13 years, Clark decided to hang up his cleats following an illustrious career. However, he wasn’t done there as Clark became an NFL analyst soon after that and gave his interesting insight on games and players. He has played in multiple teams for over a decade. Therefore, that experience was highly necessary to make the assumptions that he makes.

Clark recently featured on NFL on ESPN where he spoke about the Texans squad condition and how it needs a rebuild desperately. The only good thing going for the Houston-based team is that they have around 12 draft picks this year and young HC DeMeco Ryans should utilize them carefully.

Still, the Texans have always had a QB problem that they aren’t able to solve for a long time. Although, this time they have a great opportunity to do that. The Houstoners have the 2nd overall pick in the draft and can pick up C.J. Stroud if they want to. However, many suggest that Bryce Young is the next superstar QB who will probably be picked up by the Panthers. For that Clark has some stern advice for the Texans.

“The thing that you don’t want to run the risk of is being in a place the next year where you don’t get to pick the cream of the crop in the Caleb Williams from USC sweepstakes,” Ryan Clark stated on ‘NFL on ESPN’.

The Texans have a great opportunity to draft one of the best college football QBs this year. Ryan Clark’s net worth is $16 million. Still, he believes that the team should be absolutely certain about drafting C.J. Stroud and should have no regrets.

However, if the Texans believe that Bryce Young will be the only superstar QB from this draft class then they should probably draft down with more picks and rebuild their squad. In hindsight, the former Steelers safety doesn’t want the Texans to have any regrets as it’s not sure if they will be able to draft Caleb Williams next year.

The Texans are currently in a precarious position and will look to make the best decision according to them. However, Ryan Clark has also delivered a piece of solid advice for the team who is currently struggling in the league.
