“They will WIN the NFC South”: Ryan Clark is BETTING on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to come out on top of their division

This season has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team has a dismal 3-5 record halfway into the season and the Hall of Fame quarterback has faced an unprecedented season so far. Tom is just coming off his divorce from Supermodel Gisele Bündchen after a 13-year marriage.

The quarterback has no other distractions on his mind, moving forward now. Football is all that he has to focus on for the rest of the season. Knowing the fierce competitor that he is, Tom will come out all guns blazing in the Buccaneers’ matchup against the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday.

However, this season, it has not just been Tom Brady’s struggles that have been concerning. The entire Tampa Bay squad appears to be reeling from a late Super Bowl hangover. This team is not looking like itself. The defense that sent shivers down the spine of the opposing 31 teams is no longer fierce and dangerous.

Tampa’s woes on the offensive side are disturbing. Tom Brady and Mike Evans have always had a great connection on-field, but this season that special connection appears to have disappeared. The Bucs have slipped to the second spot in the NFC South behind the Atlanta Falcons. Yes, you read that right, Tom Brady’s team is worse than the Falcons led by Marcus Mariota.

With his personal issues out of the way, we can expect Tom Brady to be laser-focused going into the second half of this season:

Ryan Clark is counting on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to clean up their act in the second half of the season.

Despite these concerns, there is still optimism for the legendary quarterback and his team. ESPN analyst and former Steelers defensive back Ryan Clark is one of the believers who expects TB12 to make a solid comeback and help the Bucs win the NFC South.

Here’s what Ryan Clark had to say, “Tom Brady has built up so much emotional revenue for all of us, we believe that he can fix anything. Any situation he is in, he can diagnose it and be a part of the solution. We’ve seen this Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense be really good this year... Mike Evans and Tom Brady have done amazing things together throughout the two years …Tom Brady has been here.”

The Bucs have failed to live up to their hype this season but Ryan Clark is not worried about the team’s struggles just yet. “There is no reason to not think that things can get fixed. The problem is they haven’t done it to this point. To this point, this has not looked like any team that’s resembled a Tom Brady team throughout the last 23 years much less the last two years in Tampa Bay.

Speaking on the team’s upcoming matchup against the defending champs, the LA Rams, Clark believes this game is a must-win for them. “This is a huge week against the Los Angeles Rams. I think the Rams beating them last year and winning the Super Bowl would help them be focused and thinking about how to get better this week and get this one win. I think this Tampa Bay Buccaneers team will win the NFC South,” Clark concludes.

The expectations are higher than ever for Tom Brady and the Bucs. Only time will tell if they will be able to live up to them.
