Life has not been very kind to Foster Moreau lately. After beating cancer, Moreau became a tragic hero after losing a match-winning catch which could have created a difference between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New England Saints. It was a tough moment for him as it could have earned the Saints the necessary points to go ahead in the league.

However, that did not happen, and the Saints had to swallow a defeat. After the match, Moreau broke down in tears. It was his teammates who came in his support and showed him the gratitude that he deserved.

Yeah, you know, it's tough. In front of every man, woman and child I've ever known. It's a dark place to be. It's the National Football League. It doesn't come down to one play, but it comes down to one play. The team fought. The team fought as hard as we did, and it's just unacceptable. It's just pathetic--Short week, that's a lack of focus, lack of concentration. It's unacceptable

Moreau has a long-standing story of battling cancer. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma during a physical session with the Saints. The TE was a free agent at that time.

He announced that his cancer is at the stage of full remission. The TE later had a great story of coming back as he scored his first touchdown in the post-cancer era in week five.

New Orleans Saints season has been of ups and down

The New Orleans Saints had a tumultuous season till now. They started the season in good fashion as they won back-to-back games. However, the winning streak witnessed a halt as they lost two consecutive games. They shattered the New England Patriots by 34-0. The team then lost three games in a row and is presently standing at a 3-4 record.

Despite a good start, the Saints failed to keep the momentum. If they have to reach the playoffs, then the team needs to be consistent enough and turn the table in the coming time. It is to be seen whether they can do it successfully.

The Saints will be taking on Indianapolis Colts, who are 3-3, next week.
