Tom Brady is the most accomplished quarterback in NFL history. He has won seven Super Bowl rings and leads the rankings in many QB statistics. There have been plenty of talented QBs in the league’s history but no one has been able to replicate the success of the Buccaneers-Patriots legend.

The former Buccaneers QB Brady wasn’t the most talented or the most athletic player to play the position but he had the heart and he had dedication and work ethic which helped him achieve great things on the football field. Tom Brady‘s dedication and hard were the main reason he won seven Super Bowl rings while many talented QBs failed to even win a single ring.

And now, the long-time ESPN reporter Sal Paolantonio claims the Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has a similar kind of game preparation and work ethic as the 15-time Pro Bowl QB Tom Brady. During his recent appearance in the Sports Take podcast, the renowned Eagles reporter compared the Pro Bowl QB Hurts’ dedication to the game to the Buccaneers legend.

“Shane Steichen (the former Eagles’ offensive coordinator) told me when he’s eating dinner before he’s going to bed, he’s constantly getting those texts from Jalen [Hurts] on situation offensive football. Very rare, it’s Brady-like, I think,” said Paolantonio on the show.

After going 9-8 in the 2021 season, the Philadelphia Eagles surprised everyone by winning the NFC Conference Championship 2022. They eventually lost to the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs in the Super Bowl but still, it was a successful season.

Can the Eagles beat the Super Bowl hangover and repeat their success in the 2022 season? Well, it’s tough, they have lost both of their coordinators since they both accepted head coach jobs with different teams. Furthermore, their division rivals NY Giants, Commanders, and the Cowboys have all gotten better in the off-season and would certainly give tougher competition than last season.

And they have also lost some of their star defensive players including defensive backs Marcus Epps and C.J. Gardner Johnson and defensive lineman Javon Hargrave. But they still have some young talents like Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean that can step up and fill their role.

Nevertheless, the Eagles have a good draft capital, if they can select good players and if Jalen Hurts continued his good form, the Philadelphia-based football team has every chance to make it to the Super Bowl once again in the 2023 season.
