The New York Jets’ new franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers is already bringing a lot of attention to the franchise from the media. The QB is currently spending some time with his new Jets teammates. He recently attended Game 2 of the NBA playoff series between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat with his teammate Sauce Gardner. During the game, they both got to meet the Hollywood actress Jessica Alba.

The Jets QB Aaron Rodgers and Sauce Gardner were sitting on courtside seats to catch the Knicks in action. They were sitting next to A-list actress Jessica Alba and one of her friends. When the 10-time Pro Bowl QB told Gardner that they would be sitting next to Alba, the Pro Bowl cornerback wasn’t initially thrilled about it, since he didn’t know who the actress was.

Gardner told the reporters on Wednesday that Rodgers made fun of him for not knowing who the Fantastic Four actress was. Nevertheless, Rodgers and Gardner did have a little chat with Alba and her friend during the game, and now Alba has revealed what the All-Pro defensive back told her during their chat.

“Lol -I totally see how this kid Sauce got his name, he said to my girl @ElizabethMxo “How can I get caught up when I’m the catch”. But in all honesty he was actually very polite with his elder @AaronRodgers12 and everyone else in the room. It was nice meeting you @iamSauceGardner ~Honey and Storm,” tweeted Alba about their meeting.

After Jessica Alba tweeted in detail about Sauce Gardner’s smooth game during the Knicks-Heat playoff game, the NY Jets‘ cornerback was impressed with himself since Alba remembered their interaction.

“Damnn it’s been 2 days and you still remember what I said word for word.. I just might be HIM Nah, but I had a good time with you, @ElizabethMxo, and my chaperone lol @AaronRodgers12,” tweeted Gardner.

Between being called chaperone by a 22-year-old teammate and being called an elder by a 42-year-old actress, Rodgers caught 2 stray bullets in one interaction.

Nonetheless, Aaron Rodgers is already having a blast in New York. Besides attending playoff games with his young teammate, Rodgers has also started training with them. In the 2023 season, he would be focused on leading the Jets to their first playoff appearance since 2010.
