Aaron Rodgers' trade to the Jets is highly accepted by Jets CB Sauce Gardner.

Aaron Rodgers had one of the worst seasons of his life as the Super Bowl-winning QB failed to qualify his team for the playoffs. The Packers QB is 39 years old and father time has finally caught up to him.
Rodgers looked off the mark throughout the entirety of the season and failed to gain any momentum. However, there were chances of the Packers qualifying for the playoffs during the last regular season game, but that didn’t happen.
The Packers QB is now in a conundrum where he either chooses to retire or play for another season, but this time with another team. If Rodgers chooses the second option, then many analysts believe that the Jets are the best option for the veteran QB.
The Jets also had a miserable season where they put their hopes on a young QB Zach Wilson but were disappointed massively. With Wilson in need of mentoring, who better than Rodgers to provide it to him?
Jets CB Sauce Gardner agrees with this assessment and would love the addition of the Packers QB to the Jets as it will massively improve their offense according to him. Gardner was elated when asked about Rodgers being traded to the Jets and had an interesting reply.
“He’s definitely great. He’s definitely elite,” Gardner stated, on ESPN Radio’s “Fitz and Harry”. “He’s been doing it [since] damn near before I was born. I can’t discredit nothing that he do. I’ve seen him do so many good things. He’s a great quarterback for sure.”
Sauce Gardner believes Aaron Rodgers will improve the Jets offense
Rodgers is 39 years old. However, the prolific QB still is one of the best QBs in the league. The veteran QB has created a massive legacy with the Packers and maybe it’s time for a change in scenery.
Jets CB Sauce Gardner also believes that Rodgers can be highly influential and can improve the offense. The Jets have a great roster that can easily challenge for the playoffs. However, they need someone at the center of things and A-Rod can be that guy.
“I mean, you know, I would. I wouldn’t mind that. I just want what’s best for the offense. But, at the same time, I just got to focus on my job and focus on what we’ve got going on on the defensive side,” Gardner stated when asked about the possibility of Rodgers joining the Jets.
Aaron Rodgers still has a couple of good years left in him and with QB Jordan Love eyeing the number 1 QB spot, maybe it’s time for the veteran to show his class elsewhere.
