Sauce Gardner is currently the defensive Rookie of the Year. The young CB has been a revelation for the New York Jets and has been a useful asset to the team.

His personality and temperament have also been beneficial for the team. Gardner has created an interesting friendship with legendary QB Aaron Rodgers, who just moved from the Green Bay Packers.

Recently, Rodgers and Gardner were seen sitting courtside for the NBA Knicks game and there the veteran QB introduced Gardner to American actress Jessica Alba. However, Gardner didn’t recognize her, and this led to an unlikely friendship.

The pair got involved in a friendly banter on Twitter, which led to the Jets CB getting personal cleats designed by famous designer Mike Jordan. The cleats were dropped subtly in the locker room and Gardner was not impressed by it.

“If I walk in the facility and see these in my locker, me and you gonna have a talk,” Sauce Gardner tweeted. The 22-year-old CB was not sold on the customized ‘Jessica Alba’ cleats and clearly stated his disinterest in wearing them.

Although Gardner’s conversation during the game with Jessica Alba didn’t last long enough, he was able to meet some new people, all thanks to Aaron Rodgers. The legendary QB has taken the youngster under his wing and is teaching him all the trade secrets of the game.

The NFL Super Bowl-winning QB Aaron Rodgers is unexpectedly happy after moving to New York. There is a different vibe about him after his move to New York. His unlikely mentor/apprentice relationship with Sauce Gardner is also going very well.

The Knicks game was just one example of the impact Rodgers has had on Sauce Gardner. Gardner had a short interaction with Jessica Alba, but it was enough to make her remember him. The A-list actress even tweeted about him, to which Gardner had an interesting reaction.

Sauce Gardner is really developing into a fine young leader who has shown various characteristics to lead the Jets in the future. His time with Aaron Rodgers will also help him learn new things.
