WWE superstar Seth Rollins alongside his wife Becky Lynch named their top 5 sports figures from professional sports who would make great ‘heels'( heels are basically the bad guys or villains in WWE matchups). And that list has also got two NFL stars in it!
Seth Collins and Becky Lynch named New England Patriots’ general manager Bill Belichick at the number five position in the recent episode of First Take. According to them, Bill Belichick has the looks to make a great villain. Moreover, the couple named Aaron Rodgers as their number 1 pick for being a heel!
It is understandable that Seth Rollins has some hate for Aaron Rodgers given that the Green Bay Packers destroyed his team so many times! While Aaron Rodgers was with the Packers, he had a 24-5 record against the Bears.
Seth Rollins is relieved to see Aaron Rodgers go to New York
Seth Rollins said it feels extremely good to not have a quarterback of Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre’s quality in the NFC North anymore. He even added that he couldn’t wait to see Rodgers and the New York Jets get crushed by Miami Dolphins or the Buffalo Bills.
He was absolutely relentless in his barrage of insults for Aaron Rodgers as he called the latter having the ‘most punchable face in the NFL ‘. Rollins also referred to the incident back in 2021 wherein Rodgers said he owns the Chicago Bears.
“You wanna talk about punchable faces, this guy has got the most punchable face in all the NFL, and he knows it, too. He knows it. He’s cocky. He’s got swag. He goes out there, tells the Bears he owns you.”
He then added, “Look, it’s the first time in like 30 years that we don’t have a quarterback named Favre or Rodgers in the NFC North and I’m telling you it feels good, it feels good! I’m so glad Rodgers is long gone in New York. I can’t wait for him to get crushed by Miami and crushed by Buffalo. I can’t wait for the New York media to squeeze from him. Good riddance, No. 12.”
Whether or not Aaron Rodgers will get humbled by Buffalo or Miami is still yet to be seen but one thing’s for sure- Bears fans are happy to see him go.
