“Why the hell you only got three wins,” Shannon Sharpe blasts Aaron Rodgers for self centric comments amidst Packers’ shocking 3-6 record

Aaron Rodgers has had a shocking start to the NFL season with the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers and co. are on a three match losing streak with the latest of them coming against the Detroit Lions.

Rodgers has struggled to make an impact as the veteran in the side, and has constantly criticized his young offensive players for their inability. This became a pattern ever since the start of the pre-season and has continued into the regular season as well.

Recently, Aaron Rodgers justified his performances while making an appearance on the Pat McAfee show claiming that he still has it in him to perform at the highest level. He also made a self brag about being the defending two time MVP award winner while also stating what he does to inspire his teammates.

Shannon Sharpe pointed out Aaron Rodgers’ self-centered nature after his comments

Aaron Rodgers said, “I always believe in myself first and I bet on myself first to go out there and to impact the game and to be great. I still know I have within me. I’m still the reigning, defending two-time MVP. Regardless who’s out there with me, guys want to come battle they know where to find me. I’ll be in the center of that huddle, expecting greatness, trying to inspire the best I can and lay it out on the line.”

However, these comments did not sit down well with former NFL tight end turned analyst, Shannon Sharpe who slammed the quarterback for failing to lead his side during this time of crisis. He even called him for bragging about their

“I’ve never heard in 30 years someone in a losing streak mention what they are. What the hell that got to do with [us] now?” Sharpe exclaimed on Undisputed. “I should be more disgusted that you’re the two-time MVP and we’re sitting here at 3-6. … And again what is it about? He’s got to mention what he is. Not the team. … It’s all about him. Always about him.“

“What everyone else does, why the hell you only got three wins? They got the next three games: Cowboys, Titans and Eagles. That doesn’t look pretty. … I’m going to check back in in three weeks and see what the two-time reigning MVP’s record is.”
