“I don’t expect to see what he did in Tampa,” Shannon Sharpe is CONFIDENT Dak Prescott won’t recreate the same magic against the 49ers

The entire NFL world was taken by storm by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Not only did he break Tom Brady‘s undefeated streak against Dallas, but also gave the Cowboys their first road playoff win since 1992.
His performance gained him appreciation from NFL pundits and fans. Prescott had a magical night on Monday as all his plays practically went unopposed by Buccaneers’ defense.
With this monumental win, everyone is confident that Dak Prescott will lead the Cowboys to another flawless victory against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. However, Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe doesn’t believe in this narrative because he doesn’t trust Prescott to deliver back-to-back wins.

Dak Prescott’s inconsistency made everyone appreciate his performance against Tampa
Talking about Dak Prescott ahead of the Cowboys’ divisional round of the playoff against the 49ers on Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe said, “If he was consistent, we wouldn’t be surprised by what we saw. If Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, or Josh Allen did what Dak Prescott did on Monday night are we surprised? Absolutely not!”
“The only reason we are surprised because we saw just a week ago what he did in Washington. We saw what he did against Jacksonville and Green Bay when he had a big lead. So this is the reason we are surprised.” Dak Prescott has been inconsistent this season as he was in the last. The Cowboys started the season with a loss, won 4 games in a row, then lost a game again before winning two games. Then the entire cycle continued.
Shannon said that looking back seven years and evaluating Prescott’s performance, he can’t disregard his inconsistent performance just because he was exceptional in one game. He further added that he believes the 29-year-old will be somewhere between his Washington performance and Tampa Bay performance. “I’ve seen enough. I know who he is. He’s inconsistent. I don’t expect to see what he did in Tampa on Monday,” Shannon said.
Sharpe does have a point that Dak Prescott hasn’t been consistent in his entire career, unlike Brock Purdy, who is yet to lose a game. Whether he delivers another game-winning performance or not is the question of the week which will be answered on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.
