The former Denver Broncos tight end, Shannon Sharpe, became a topic of conversation among NFL and NBA fans. In an unusual way, it was not because of his takes on sports or anything controversial. Sharpe became meme material on social media due to his overdone makeup on the ESPN show First Take. Later, the Pro Football Hall of Famer responded to criticism about overdone makeup on his X profile.

“Appreciate the concern over my makeup this morning on @FirstTake. This was her 1st time doing my makeup and it was a little heavy. My appearance is important not as important as my takes. Hopefully, the takes were gr8 as usual. #LipSparringChamp #BestDressed #Espn,” wrote Sharpe.

Furthermore, he also responded to a concern raised by an X user about the girl who did his makeup. An X user wrote, “Poor girl is finished.” To which Sharpe replied, “No she isn’t. She’ll get better with my makeup. Isn’t the end of the world.”

Memes initially started to roll in after a parody account of Shannon, which tracks every move of the ESPN analyst, posted a picture of Shannon’s overdone makeup and made comments about how the dripping makeup “got him looking like Randy Jackson.” The picture posted by the parody account went viral on social media, and fans began to make memes about Sharpe’s unusual look.

Later, Shannon had to clarify his look and say it was only a mistake by the first-time makeup artist. But fans bombed that thread with their creative memes too. “Halloween came early for you,” wrote one X user.

Shannon Sharpe picks Tyreek Hill as the most valuable non-QB player

During a recent episode of the ESPN show First Take, the panel had a discussion about who is the most valuable non-quarterback player in the NFL. Shannon Sharpe didn’t think twice to answer his choice, and it was Tyreek Hill.

Sharpe claimed that Hill has changed the dynamic of the Miami Dolphins‘ offense and has added some explosiveness, which is true. Besides, Sharpe also has numbers to back up his claim.

Through the first six weeks of the 2023 regular season, Tyreek Hill has registered 814 receiving yards and 6 receiving touchdowns. He is averaging a massive 19.4 yards per reception.

Hill has really made Tua Tagovailoa a better quarterback and is certainly the best player on the Dolphins’ roster. That’s why Sharpe believes he is the most valuable non-QB player in the entire league.
