Tom Brady is arguably the best player the NFL has ever seen grace the pitch. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has earned many fans during his esteemed career, but also has his fair share of critics.
Leading NFL analyst, Shannon Sharpe might just be the most prominent of them all. The Undisputed show host has previously claimed his dislike for the quarterback’s activities off the pitch and continued to pile on the points against him.
Shannon Sharpe criticizes Tom Brady for his Instagram activity
This time, Sharpe took offence to Brady’s Instagram activity after the quarterback posted a picture of himself showing off his ripped figure. Sharpe was responding to Jenny Taft’s question to rate on a scale how stale he is with Brady’s social media presence.
Shannon Sharpe said, “Eventually, Tom Brady, people are going to start talking about you and you can’t have enough social media posts. This isn’t about talking about the game about the draft, this is about Tom Brady.”
“I keep telling you, this man has an unquenchable ego, an unquenchable thirst to be loved to be talked about. And you, every time I’ve been telling you, Tom Brady is more like Shannon Sharpe than you previously thought, and you wanted to shoot me down.”
Sharpe, who was quite the flamboyant man himself during his playing days compared Brady’s ego to his own claiming that it was unquenchable. He also observed that the 44-year old was more like Shannon Sharpe than many think him to be.
The photo was also a snap of Brady being involved in the shoots of ’80 for Brady,’ an upcoming Hollywood film based on a set of New England Patriots fans who want to meet their legendary quarterback, Tom Brady.
