“I lost the majority of allies,” Aaron Rodgers on the media BACKSTABBING him following QB’s Covid-19 vaccine fiasco

“I lost the majority of allies,” Aaron Rodgers on the media BACKSTABBING him following QB’s Covid-19 vaccine fiasco

Aaron Rodgers on the Joe Rogan Experience

Aaron Rodgers is one of the most polarizing figures in the NFL today and his vaccinated/immunized controversy which made headlines last year did not help in the matter. The 4 time NFL MVP is one of the greatest talents ever to set foot on a football field but also one of the most controversial in recent history. Rodgers was recently on the Joe Rogan Experience.

Unless someone was living under a rock they know about the intense criticism and scrutiny the Green Bay Packers QB received from the media following his being infected by the Coronavirus disease and the subsequent revelation that he wasn’t vaccinated despite claiming to be “IMMUNIZED“. Rodgers was panned by the media and it still is brought up whenever he’s talked about.

The backlash was so severe that despite having a season for the ages as a Quarterback in the NFL, a media member who had a vote in the MVP selection went on to say he wasn’t going to vote for Aaron Rodgers. Although Rodgers’ accomplishments on the field were hard to ignore and earned him his 2nd consecutive MVP, his 4th overall.

Aaron Rodgers talked about how he came to realize the truth about many people in the media who he counted as allies after rejoining the team post-Covid where his team lost a game-“I had my you know basically I lost, you know the majority of allies I had in the media. The good thing is it drew a real line in the sand and everybody who wanted to jump on me and trash me did and show their true colors.”

Rodgers continued-“And very few people ahh….. you know kinda in the media at least stuck by me.

The Show’s host Joe Rogan couldn’t help but express his surprise at Aaron Rodgers’ admission.

Rodgers also went on to talk about how the NFL’s every season is like one of the greatest books that gets written every year and how in an epic novel that is an NFL season media decided to make him the villain-“I think they just “we’re gonna make this guy the villain because he’s been so good for so long and he’s not vacced.”

Rodgers talked more about the media-“Some of them used my name for a long time to stay on some of their networks……You know I think the interesting thing for me is how it changed and how my vaccination status… they couldn’t get past that they couldn’t get past years of friendship and me doing favors for them doing interviews for them with them if they needed something, making sure I gave them time making sure I gave them a sound bite or do an interview or come on their show. And I am talking about probably a dozen that I thought were allies in the media meaning friendly to me.

The whole podcast is quite an interesting listen. The media that Rodgers talks about will have quite a lot to say about the Rodgers’ take on the issue.
