The Dallas Cowboys’ name is doing rounds in this NFL offseason. But not for good reasons. They have not made a significant signing yet. In addition, they released Tony Pollard, one of their most important players. In addition, Tyron Smith is also on the verge of leaving. He is all set to join the New York Jets.
All of these things came after Jerry Jones, the veteran owner of the Cowboys, claimed that the team would be ‘all in’ one in the next season. The comments came in the backdrop of Dak Prescott‘s cap structure.
However, the foundation of the statement shook after Tony Pollard left. As per sources, he had a money concern and reportedly refused to play with lesser wage. There was a chance of the Cowboys trading Derrick Henry, but they failed to do that as well. The inability of the team management disgraced veteran analyst and the fan of the Cowboys, Skip Bayless.
In a recent tweet, the veteran dismissed Jerry Jones’ ‘All in One’ comment by writing, “All in one, my a**.” Now, in a recent episode of the Skip Bayless show, the veteran broke down his tweet.
How could I not tweet that? I got so sick and so tired of Jerry Jones fiddling around while his Rome burns, I tweeted this 'All in, my a**' -- Cowboys Twitter got sick and tired of Jerry Jones doing absolutely nothing in the offseason.Bayless said, addressing a question from a person called Alex
Bayless was expecting the Cowboys to sign Derrick Henry
Skip Bayless had a major trigger after the Cowboys let Henry go. There were speculations that the Cowboys had a preliminary interest in the league’s one of the finest RBs. However, nothing worked in line and they let him go. The veteran analyst fumed in disgrace and had some hard words in the Skip Bayless show.
I hate to relive this. We were down 27 against nothing in our home playoff game against the youngest team in the NFL and we were 7.5 points favorites. Jerry for once owed us this move. It is not even a plunge. If you told me, someone had given $50 million guaranteed, I would have said 'ok you got me.' There is no way we can get him by $50 million. But they had given him $9 million guaranteed--that blows my guts out.Bayless in the latest episode of Undisputed
This is not the first time Jones has received anger from different corners. After the Cowboys suffered in the postseason, multiple people raised their fingers at him. With time, it has increased only. It is to be seen, where it actually ends and whether Jones can break the playoffs curse somehow.
