Dak Prescott didn’t have the season he would have hoped for. The Cowboys QB has regressed this season, however, his efforts were enough for the Cowboys to make it into the playoffs as a wild-card entry thanks to their great defense.
Prescott has looked shaky this season as he threw career-high 15 interceptions. There was also talk of him getting replaced by backup QB Cooper Rush who had seriously impressed everyone.
The 29-year-old is considered as one of the most popular QBs in the league and amasses a huge fan following. All eyes will be on him when the Cowboys face the Bucs for their first playoff game.
According to Skip Bayless from the Undisputed, the game can have serious ramifications for Prescott who has been 1-3 in the NFL playoffs and has mostly been disappointing during the postseason.
This game is important, as the Cowboys go up against the Tom Brady led Bucs who has 7 Super Bowl rings and plenty of playoff experience. “This is a huge opportunity with potentially huge negative ramifications,” Skip Bayless stated on Undisputed. “This is a huge opportunity, you an right all the wrongs you’ve [Dak] done this season, this is a must-win.”
Prescott has the immaculate opportunity to turn the fans in his favor by beating the legendary Tom Brady and knocking him out of the playoffs. However, Brady will not be going down that easily and will need all the efforts from the Cowboys.
Dak Prescott’s interceptions can be a major issue for the Cowboys

The Cowboys QB leads the NFL in interceptions and is known to throw one in each game. The problem started to occur following Dak Prescott’s thumb injury that sidelined him for numerous weeks. Since returning he has been average at best.
Prescott’s interception can be a wild card for the Bucs who can gain extra possession and Tom Brady can inflict some serious damage on them. Nonetheless, the Cowboys are going into the game as strong favorites. They ended their season with a good 12-5 record compared to the Bucs’ 8-9 losing record.
Although what balances the playing field is the experience Brady brings to the table during the playoffs. The legendary QB is a different beast during the playoffs. Though he is 45 years old, he is still lethal during the 4th quarter.
Dak Prescott will be fighting for his team and his legacy when he faces the Bucs. If he can control his interceptions, then the Cowboys are a great team to bet on to eventually win the Super Bowl.
