“There have been too many big failures!” Skip Bayless still hasn’t regained his trust in Dak Prescott even after Cowboys’ win over the Chargers
Skip Bayless can't trust his quarterback Dak Prescott properly.

Everyone aware of the NFL knows that Skip Bayless loves the Dallas Cowboys. He is an ardent Cowboy. He never refrains himself from expressing his support for the Cowboys squad. However, does the analyst have high trust in the Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott? That’s a million-dollar question to ask.
Dak has examples of not providing at the biggest stage and Bayless is well aware of it. In the game vs the San Francisco 49ers, Dak had one of the worst performances in his career as he had three interceptions; those interceptions had a crucial role in shaping the result. After the result, Bayless had some strong words against him.
That was not the first time Bayless said anything against Dak. In 2022, the veteran analyst said that Dak could not be trusted in big games. He almost repeated the same words after the game against the 49ers.
Dak had a good comeback in the game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He led his team to the path of winning as he covered 312 total yards with two total touchdowns. Bayless was asked again whether he now trusts Dak after seeing his ability to carry his team forward. This is what Prescott said in the recent episode of his show, ‘Undisputed.’
“Do I trust Dak at the highest level? When it is the San Francisco 49ers in the playoff game, do I trust him? No, I do not. There have been too many big failures on the biggest stages. In the biggest game, I do not trust him,” Skip admitted.
“But in these kinds of games against the light-heavyweights (call them what you want to call, light or heavy weights) they were better than the Chargers and Dak plays within the comfort zone,” the veteran added.
Dak Prescott’s season a mix bag so far
Ahead of the season, Dak announced that he would not be intercepted more than ten times this season. He started well, however, the game against the 49ers was a nightmare for him. He had three interceptions and covered just 150 yards.

In six games this season, Dak has covered 1,333 yards of passing with six touchdowns and five interceptions. He needs to improve his gameplay in the coming games. Getting intercepted has always been his problem, and he needs to work on it if Dallas has to win the Super Bowl and end their two and half decade’s trophy drought.
