“All-time embarrassment,” Skip Bayless TORCHES Broncos for their dreadful performance against the Rams on Christmas Day

Skip Bayless of the UNDISPUTED had enough material to call out the already abysmal Broncos after their recent and ugly outing. The Denver Broncos became the laughingstock (again) of the league when they lost 51-14 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. In the wake of this game, the Broncos fired their Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett.

Russell Wilson threw three interceptions in the game before getting benched in favor of backup quarterback Brett Rypien. The Broncos defense has been good all season but for whatever reason, they could not stop the Rams’ offense at all. They did not punt once during the entire game. The vicious beatdown was iced by Cobie Durant’s pick-six in the fourth quarter.

This performance by the Broncos agitated a lot of NFL fans, including Skip Bayless, who called this performance “the all-time embarrassment.” Speaking on his show UNDISPUTED with former Broncos tight-end Shannon Sharpe, Bayless said that the Broncos’ performance was flat-out unacceptable. “This is just flat-out unacceptable. This franchise is too important to that region for this to be happening because this is the all-time embarrassment.”

Bayless then turned his attention towards complimenting Baker Mayfield and the Rams head coach Sean McVay for their brilliant game plan against a tough Broncos defense. The Broncos’ defense ranked No.3 in points allowed per game before their hideous outing against the Rams.

The Broncos have moved on from their rookie head coach and they are looking to move on from their GM too, per reports. So it all falls on the star quarterback Russell Wilson to turn this franchise around and get back to winning ways in the future.

Skip Bayless praises Baker Mayfield

After torching the Broncos team for their poor outing against the Rams, Baylees did not forget to give credit to the Rams’ new quarterback Baker Mayfield and head coach Sean McVay for their brilliant game plan, which shattered the Broncos’ defense.

Bayless said that McVay used the Rams’ tight end well to go against the Broncos’ tough secondary. He also mentioned that Baker is finally playing with a head coach who believes in him. “He finally landed with a smart clever coach who believes in him,” said Bayless, talking about Baker Mayfield and Sean McVay’s dynamic.

Skip also noted that Baker led the whole NFL in quarterback ratings on the weekend with 88.1 QBR. For comparison, Broncos QB Wilson had 3.5 QBR in that game. Skip believes Baker has finally wound up in a team that works for him.

Matthew Stafford is most likely to miss out this season and, per reports, he may not play until 2024. So the Rams, who don’t have any first-round draft picks to draft or trade for a quarterback, found themselves a decent QB who can win games for them.
