The Philadelphia Eagles weren’t able to get the better of the Kansas City Chiefs during the Super Bowl finals and ended up losing the game. Although the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, the game was riddled with controversial calls, which led to the belief that it was rigged altogether.

One such controversial instance was on the Chiefs’ 48-yard line with QB Jalen Hurts in possession of the ball. Hurts threw a great 35-yard pass to DeVonta Smith that would have given a huge advantage to the Eagles.

The officials ruled out that the ball hit the ground before Smith caught it. The call was highly significant, and many argued that it changed the course of the game for good.

The Eagles had to settle for a 35-yard field goal and didn’t make the touchdown push. The fans were agitated by this decision and quickly called out the referees for their clear bias.

It seems like the Eagles were fighting two teams at once, the Chiefs and the team of officiators who were clearly against them according to the reactions on social media.
