The 2023 Pro Bowl ended with the NFC winning it all at the end against the AFC. This year’s Pro Bowl was entirely different from its previous iterations. For the past few years, players didn’t take tackle seriously to avoid injury, which turned the Pro Bowl into a mockery of sorts. This led the NFL executives to change the entire Pro Bowl and introduce some non-contact games that wouldn’t put the players in harm’s way.
The new and improved Pro Bowl had a series of games that were played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. There was ‘Move the Chains’, which involved players pulling a 2000-pound sled. There was also a ‘Best Catch’ event and ‘Gridiron Gauntlet’, which was basically an obstacle course. Then in the end there were three games of flag football.
The flash football game could also be dubbed the “Manning Bowl” as it saw brothers Peyton and Eli at the opposite end of the sideline once again. Peyton was the head coach of the AFC and Eli of the NFC. Both brothers battled it out on the field and finally, the younger Manning got his revenge. When both were still in the NFL, they faced each other three times and Peyton won all those matchups, so Eli wasted no time rubbing this victory in his brother’s face.

Peyton Manning-led AFC had a solid lead of 21-15 as they headed into the final game of the Pro Bowl showdown. However, the AFC fought back and won 35-33 after the scores of the flag football game were added to the tally. Eli Manning couldn’t wait any longer and established himself as the better coach and trolled his brother hilariously. “Alright, it’s official. You can’t doubt it. I’m the greatest coach of the Mannings. I’m so much better at coaching than Peyton it’s unbelievable,” Eli said after the game.
Peyton, on his part, was also enraged at the refs and was seen shouting at them for not giving the AFC a penalty as the game closed. To add fuel to the fire, Justin Jefferson was waving goodbye to the Sheriff which made him angrier.
