The Jacksonville Jaguars emerged victorious in a close encounter against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday. The match ended 20-10 in the favor of the Jaguars. However, it also marked some controversial and unfortunate events. Kenny Pickett, the Steelers QB, suffered an injury and left the field. It is to be seen when he makes a comeback to the field.

Nonetheless, the match will be remembered for the frustration that the wide receiver of the Steelers showed after the match. Diontae Johnson did not hide his agony and openly criticized the referring in front of the media. He even alleged the referees for being ‘partial,’ towards the Jaguars. His reaction was shocking, however, that did not prevent him from expressing himself in front of the media.

I don’t care what nobody is saying; they cost us the game. They wanted them to win. Everything was in their favor, every little call. They were calling some stupid stuff. They should get fined for making terrible calls. That’s how p*ssed I am.

He launched a shocking allegation after that. Johnson implied that the referees were paid to make decisions against the Steelers.

They must have got paid well today or something.

Johnson was pivotal against the Jaguars. The WR had eight receives for 83 yards, but that was not enough. The Steelers lost and presently they are standing with a 4-3 record. They have some important fixtures in the pipeline. The team will face the Tennessee Titans in the next game and it is to be seen how they make a comeback from this loss.
