After leaving the Fox Sports show Undisputed back in June, the former Denver Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe made his debut on Stephen A. Smith‘s First Take on ESPN. During Sharpe’s debut episode on Monday, Smith and Sharpe debated which quarterback is the under most pressure to win the Super Bowl ring. Smith said it was the Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

“Dak Prescott!” Smith exclaimed when co-host Molly Qerim asked which quarterback was under the most pressure to win the Super Bowl. “We got to stop this nonsense right now. Who’s America’s team? Who’s America’s team y’all?”

Furthermore, Stephen A. Smith went on to say that how the Cowboys are worth more than any other sports franchise in the world and also pointed out Prescott’s failures in the postseason so far.

“The average NFL franchise is worth 5.1 billion dollars, the Dallas Cowboys worth 9.2 billion, at 4 billion dollars more,” said Smith. “How many postseason victories does it take to win a Super Bowl? At least 3, at least 3. . . unless you’re a wildcard right? at least 3 right? Dak Prescott got 2 in 8 years. He got 2 in 8 years. I mean that’s acceptable.”

In addition, Smith also mentioned how the NFC is easier to win when compared to the AFC conference. Smith said that only a handful of teams in the NFC have a real shot at winning the championship, whereas in the AFC it’s free for all. Therefore, Prescott with the Cowboys is under most pressure to win the title, per Stephen A.

Stephen A. Smith, a known Cowboys hater, recently went on a rant against the Dallas-based franchise and their quarterback Dak Prescott. He labeled Prescott’s era in Dallas a massive failure.

Smith did give his flowers to Prescott and the Cowboys for their regular season victories, but Smith mentioned how Prescott has won only 2 games in the postseason in his 7-year-long career so far.

This rant came a few days after the Cowboys manager Jerry Jones made a trade with the San Francisco 49ers to acquire the former 3rd overall pick Trey Lance in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

Smith believes Jones is sending a clear message to the 2-time Pro Bowl QB Prescott with his bold move to add Lance to their roster. Trey Lance will start as the 3rd stringer in the Cowboys QB depth chart and will battle against Cooper Rush for the backup spot.
