Stephen A. Smith made some compelling claims before the Cowboys-Bucs NFL wild-card matchup. The NFL analyst was sure that Tom Brady will dominate the Cowboys. The Bucs QB had never lost against the Cowboys, which even further solidified his claims.
However, Smith took things way too far when he decided to invite Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott’s respective fathers to the ESPN First Take booth and told them that Prescott is going to throw two interceptions and the Cowboys are going to lose.
Smith dared to tell the father of the Cowboys QB that his son is not going to play well and they are going to lose the game. Unsurprisingly, it backfired massively as the Bucs were completely swept away by the dominating Cowboys.
Dak Prescott who was criticized a lot before the game gave an exceptional performance and proved all his critics wrong. Smith was recently featured again on ESPN’s First Take to talk about the aftermath of the Cowboys-Bucs game. There, he was asked by his colleagues to apologize to Prescott’s father for the clear disrespect.
Stephen A. Smith understood that he was wrong with his assessment and was quick to apologize. The NFL analyst also stated that the Cowboys QB showed up and ‘gave him all the respect where respect is due.’
Can Dak Prescott prove Stephen A. Smith wrong again next week?

The Cowboys are up against a formidable opponent next week for the NFC divisional playoffs. They will be facing the 49ers who are looking deadly this season.
There were rumors that their young QB, Brock Purdy, would succumb to the pressure of the playoffs. However, Mr. Irrelevant has been a breath of fresh air for the 49ers’ offense and has shown great flair.
However, his best quality can be coping with pressure, which also reminds everyone of young Tom Brady who defied expectations when he took the field. The Cowboys and Dak Prescott have a serious challenge ahead of them.
They would love to disappoint and prove analysts like Stephen A. Smith wrong and win the next game. This will also help them come one step closer to the Super Bowl, something the Cowboys’ fans have been dreaming about for decades now.
Regardless, it can turn out to be a tough game for them as the 49ers have a great roster and are adept in every aspect of the game. Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy will have to produce a masterclass to beat them.
