The Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is currently serving a 3-game suspension due to the sign-stealing saga that shocked the college football world. Harbaugh has already missed out 2 games and he will also miss coaching the Wolverines during their important rivalry game against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

However, Fox reporter Jay Glazer says this shocking scandal won’t impact NFL teams’ interest in Harbaugh.

At first, when this whole thing happened with Jim Harbaugh, all the teams I talked to when I asked, ‘Is this going to affect him if he decides to go and come into the NFL,’ at first, teams would say we really want to start hearing more about this investigation, but as the last couple of weeks have gone, that has just completely changed.

When the shocking incident came to light, many reported that the NFL wouldn’t be an escape route for Jim Harbaugh. So, it seemed like an NFL return was not on the books for Harbaugh. However, now, Jay Glazer says that the teams have moved on from Harbaugh’s situation and the scandal won’t affect his stocks.

Glazer believes the NFL has completely moved on from the sign-stealing saga. Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines were accused of stealing signs and in-scouting their opponents in advance. Michigan’s staffer Connor Stalions was accused of spearheading the entire scheme, which led to him resigning from his job at the University of Michigan.

Later, while conducting an investigation, the Big Ten conference punished the Wolverines by banning Harbaugh from the sidelines for 3 games. But, they didn’t find any evidence linking Harbaugh to the alleged sign-stealing scheme. The Big Ten and NCAA are still conducting an investigation on the issue.

The sign-stealing saga didn’t affect Jim Harbaugh’s head coaching stocks

On Thursday, Fox reporter Jay Glazer made it clear that the shocking sign-stealing scandal won’t stop NFL teams from approaching the Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh to be their head coach.

Here is what Glazer had to say:

All the teams I’ve talked to say regardless of what we hear in that investigation, that’s not going to affect the way we look at Jim Harbaugh if he wants to come back and coach in the NFL. I actually think for the NFL, they’ve kind of moved on from this.
Glazer said on Fox Sports

Before joining the Wolverines as their head coach, Harbaugh served as the head coach for the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014 and led them to a Super Bowl appearance. He has also interviewed for multiple teams including the Denver Broncos in the past off-seasons.
