“Stop pretending to be GANGSTA”: Teddy Bridgewater urges kids not to get FOOLED by the “tough guy” image of NFL players

Teddy Bridgewater is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. After delivering noteworthy performances during his college football days at Louisville, Teddy was able to grab the attention of the Minnesota Vikings back in 2014 when he was roped into the side.
Teddy instantly proved the Vikings right for adding him to their roster as he played a major role in guiding the team to a divisional title in only his second season. However, a leg injury really pushed Teddy back as he was able to play only one game in the next two seasons.

Teddy then played for a bunch of teams including the Jets, Saints, Panthers and Broncos before eventually signing a one-year contract with the Dolphins earlier this year. Undoubtedly, Teddy has been through a lot of ups and downs in his career and most recently, the star QB shared an inspirational post on Instagram that has gone viral like crazy.
“Tired of seeing football players portray this tough guy image or pretend he is a gangsta,” he wrote, almost urging his fellow footballers to become role models and inspire the youth to do the right thing instead of just boasting and portraying the strong man image.
“Kids don’t be fooled. You can play ball, do the right thing, and they still gonna accept you. Look at me, I am far from perfect but I chose the ball route but I can still go to the hood and post up and it’s all love. My people accept me for making all the right decisions and not falling victim or being tricked by the false image you see on IG from a lot of ball players,” he wrote.
In the end, Teddy asked the youngsters to choose their paths carefully in order to make the right choice. s expected, this post from Teddy ended up getting a lot of reactions. Even Stefon Diggs was impressed with Teddy’s words and innumerable fans on Twitter hailed the QB for speaking sense.
