The entire NFL world has been praying for the past 18 hours for Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin to pull through. The 24-year-old star had a cardiac arrest during the MNF game after his collision with the Bengals receiver Tee Higgins.

Hamlin was lying unconscious on the field as medics worked on him for 16 minutes, giving him CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and trying to revive him as the ambulance was rushed onto the field and he was transferred to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. This entire event shook every individual present in Paul Brown Stadium.

Fans of both teams united as one and camped outside the UC Medical Center praying for Hamlin and his family as the safety is fighting for his life. Bills wideout and a close friend of Hamlin, Stefon Diggs, visited the hospital after the game was postponed by the NFL.

NFL critics and fans keep Tee Higgins in their prayers and hope the WR knows he’s not at fault

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is among the individuals that are shaken to their core as he was the one who collided with Damar Hamlin during the first quarter of the game. Higgins was seen visiting Hamlin’s family, along with his mother, at the UC Medical Center.

Tee Higgins, 23, is currently in Abbott’s shoes and is experiencing the same trauma. The entire NFL community is also standing behind Higgins and has shown its support on Twitter.

The last update from the doctors at UC Medical Center has spread a wave of relief amongst the NFL fraternity, as Damar Hamlin’s vitals have improved. However, he’s still intubated and is not able to breathe on his own. Let’s hope the prayers of everyone help Hamlin get better.
